Web development was my gateway to computer science in high school. I've spent several years working on a wide variety of different web development projects. I've worked most extensively with React and Typescript projects recently, but have also worked on Angular, PHP, and plain HTML + CSS + JavaScript projects in the past.
In my work at Amazon, I worked a lot on Java Spring backend microservices serving millions of requests per day. I helped lead and build my team's first Python-runtime packages for use in AWS Lambda. In school, I was involved in projects using C/C++ and OCaml. I occasionally tinker with Rust and Go.
I used AWS extensively as an Amazon employee. I've also worked extensively with AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit), AWS's open-source infrastructure-as-code alternative to services like Terraform. A small sampling of the AWS technologies Iβve worked with: Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, API Gateway, Cognito, CDK / CloudFormation, IAM, CodeDeploy, SQS, and Kinesis.
Figma and Sketch. Iβm not a UX designer by trade, but I do find great joy in wireframing and building high-fidelity mocks. Side projects I invest significant time in always include accompanying Sketch files or Figma projects.
